Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Booking Policy The Hit Lab Recording Studio By booking a session at The Hit Lab, you agree to the following terms: 1. Cancellation Policy (72-Hour Rule) Studio Time Bookings: Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the start time. Less than 72 hours notice results in full payment forfeited (no refund or rescheduling). Final Mix & Mastering Sessions: Once booked and paid, these are non-cancellable within 72 hours. Exceptions only for Act of God or severe emergency unrelated to any delays by the client, team, or studio. The 72-hour rule applies to all bookings unless otherwise agreed in writing. 2. Punctuality & Studio Time Sessions start and end at the exact booked time. 15 minutes before and after each booking is provided for setup and striking equipment. Late arrivals: The session will not be extended. Booked time runs as scheduled. The studio is not responsible for client delays. 3. Revisions Final Mix and Mastering each include a maximum of 3 revisions. Additional revisions will be charged at the studio’s hourly rate. 4. Stems Stems are rendered only upon request at an additional fee of R1,500 per song. 5. Studio Cancellation If The Hit Lab cancels due to an emergency, the session will be rescheduled at the earliest available time or a full refund will be issued. 6. General Terms Full payment or deposit is required to secure a booking. Clients must arrive prepared with all necessary files and references. Disruptive or disrespectful behaviour may result in session termination without refund. No food or drinks (except water) allowed near equipment. Clients are liable for any damage caused to studio equipment. All bookings are subject to availability and studio confirmation. 7. Payments & Refunds Refunds are issued only in accordance with the cancellation policy above. No refunds for sessions that have started or been partially used. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this policy.
